About this magazine
Editorial team and working methods
AI is used in research, writing, translation, design and image production. An AI model is not a source of evidence. Supporting material must be available in verifiable publications and data. Editorial policy requires content and language checks by a reviewer who was not involved in writing the article. Stating this policy does not guarantee that an article is free of errors.
Sources, facts and current information
Articles link to their sources and image credits. Factual information, interpretation and examples should be distinguishable. Prices, event listings and other changing information may change after consultation. For a specific decision, information from the original provider or organisation takes precedence.
Corrections and comments
Reports of errors or missing context can include the article URL, the passage concerned and, where possible, a source. Substantive corrections should be explained visibly alongside the article.
Editorial enquiries and corrections: redactie@hollandmagazine.nl.
Photography, illustrations and rights
Images may include photographs, drawings, charts and AI-generated illustrations or reconstructions. A reconstruction or atmospheric illustration is not a documentary recording of an event. The creator, origin, licence and any editing are listed in the image credits where applicable. An image published online is not automatically free to reuse; the licence for the individual work determines the terms of reuse.
Advertising, sponsorship and partner links
Our starting point is unobtrusive, relevant advertising that does not interrupt reading. Commercial contributions should be recognisable as advertising or sponsorship. Partner links indicate when a fee may be received. Source links and commercial links remain separate. Payment must not determine an editorial conclusion or ranking.
Privacy enquiries
Questions about personal data or correspondence can be sent to redactie@hollandmagazine.nl. External websites we link to have their own privacy policies.
