On 7 and 8 November, the Sint-Walburgiskerk will be filled with glass art. The organiser calls this the fifth edition; tickets cost €10, with 70 per cent going towards church maintenance.

A church window and a glass vase share a material, but not a purpose. In Zutphen, that meeting takes place on 7 and 8 November at the Sint-Walburgiskerk: the Zutphen Glass Expo uses the historic church as a setting for old and modern glass art.

The organiser calls this the fifth edition and says more than fifty glass artists and galleries will take part. Works can be viewed and bought. The 2026 exhibitors’ page contains 45 numbered entries; because some entries list more than one maker, that number does not establish the final total of exhibitors.

Live glassblowing demonstrations are planned outside the church. Visitors can therefore see not only finished objects but also how the material is shaped. The organiser’s impressions page says the demonstrations are free.

Admission costs €10. According to the visitor information, 70 per cent goes to the Sint-Walburgiskerk for maintenance and related needs. Tickets are sold only at the entrance; the organiser says digital advance sales are not available.

The 2026 list includes makers such as Arnout Visser, Richard Price and Studio Simsa Cho. The municipality published an application for an event permit for 7 and 8 November, from 10:00 to 17:00.

The expo is open both days from 10:00 to 17:00 at Kerkhof 3 in Zutphen. For a weekend, the church takes on another role: alongside being a monument and place of worship, it becomes a venue where glass is viewed, discussed and sold.
